What does it mean to be a visual anthropologist in
our days?
Do we need to travel around the globe to study the
human behavior in different societies?
Dancing with Shiva is a video-sound project
that meets this questions through the analysis of
the Mother Frequency of different cultures and
subculture in their musical and physical rhythms.
In the Hinduist tradition, Shiva creates harmony
by playing different instruments, precisely this
differences in sound become the elements creating
harmony.
In this project, I’ve created three set of sound
based on the relevant range of BPM played in the
dancing videos I display. Each set is composed of
four videos and accompanied by one beat.
